Novice Tournaments run for the month of October and are only open to new student competitors. It is highly recomended that novices attend at least two of their first semester tournament requirements during novice season in October. Up to three novice tournaments will be counted towards the novice first semester tournament requirements, however novices are encouraged attend all four tournaments.
They must still attend at least one varsity tournament first semester.
